All that really matters is the playoff rotation. Ayers clearly isn't going to be a part of that, so we don't really need to be playing him. It'd be like playing Dejuan Blair during the regular season when we had him. He'd be eating away minutes for guys that are actually going to be playing in the playoffs.
Kind of shocking to see how Pop has shrunk down the rotation this early in the season. Ayers, Banes, Joseph, and De Colo have hardly seen the court at ALL this year. You can just see how serious Pop and the Big 3 are taking things this year. It's like they're all intent on not losing.
Ayres has barely learned the drive the the arena. He will not play like some on
who has been on the team 3 years. Ease up and let him learn the names of his teammates.
I'd rather see Bonner get court time over him. At least Bonner does one thing well. Ayres can't even dunk a ing basketball.
