Spurs got this one if Duncan starts to care a bit tbh but I could see Spurs letting Anderson score a career high tbh
These 2 Western Conference powerhouses meet on the hardwood tonight in SA.
Do not be fooled by the Pelicans 6-6 record. They were without Ryan Anderson for the first 9 games this season (3-6), but since he has returned, the Pelicans have been an absolute juggernaut, going 3-0 and winning by an average margin of victory of 16 points per game. Anderson is averaging 19.3 ppg and is shooting a scorching 57.1% from the field and an unheard of 61.9% from 3 pt rangeThose are the kinds of numbers that probably have his gf looking down from the heavens and regretting committing suicide.
Tonight's game is going to be a war. It won't be easy for the Pelicans to leave with the W, especially with Monty Williams at the helm, but I am feeling like the Pelicans are going to pull it out, with perinnial All Star Anthony Davis making a late defensive play to seal it.
Pelicans 96
Spurs 94

If the Spurs coast, Spurs 114 Pelicans 88
If the Spurs come out to play, Spurs 128 Pelicans 70
If Pop rests the entire team and bring in the Toros, Spurs 100 Pelicans 92
If the Spurs organization decides to forfeit the game, Spurs 96 Pelicans 90
The Governor killed the Mexican![]()
I think the Pelicans will win this one.
If the Pelicans win then I think it's about time that Kori or timvp updates the site to include the Pelicans team name and logo.
the fact that this thread wasn't started by "Darth_Pelican" is a gotdamn shame tbh.
Cleaning house tbh. All the old characters are getting killed off. I don't expect the governor to live past next ep as well, unless the writers/producers want to string this out longer. tbh.
son you gonna come to the game and buy a whole row of seats for $5, then afterwards visit the fine establishments outside the arena?
Son I would love to but my passport is expired. Gotta get it renewed and that takes a little time.
It's crazy how everything is cheaper down there in Mexico.
Possible WCF matchup tonight. I think the Pelicans have a chance.
This should be a good game. Despite piss poor coaching, I really do enjoy watching the Pelicans play. They are exciting, young and pretty damn talented. They still ISO wayyyyyy to much (symptom of their flawed roster on top of poor coaching) but they are really exciting.
Are the Spurs fans complaining about the officiating yet?
Should be good indeed. The Spurs have feasted on bad teams and need a bit of a wake up call. The Spurs fall behind early and have to focus defensively late to get it but they pull away in the second half of the 4th quarter.
in all honesty, if you look at the standings, there aren't that many good teams.it doesn't help that the spurms went through a eastern conference schedule and beating them is easier than throwing puppies off a cliff imo.
