It really speaks volumes of the Miami heat organization that they were able to bring in Beasley, a well known head case and negative personality, and get him to play efficient basketball on both ends in limited minutes. As much as I hate that team for taking away number 5 from us, this isn't a case of a great player giving up money to play for a contender. Beasley had possibly lost his last chance with his tumultuous season in Phoenix, yet the heat took a gamble on him thinking he could be a difference maker of he got his head right

Not sure why people think James is leaving Miami... they're going to be 2/1 favorites to win the le every year as long as Pat Riley is in charge and LeBron is in his prime.
Beasley didn't ever want to be the main guy. He's a backup. He was thrust into a much higher draft position than he should have been.
Beasley admitted that he feels pressured to work harder to impress Lebron and Three, tbh..
He said that it's the first time he's been on a team where there was 1-2 guys that were clearly more talented than him..Lebron and Spo have regulated his minutes, too, forcing him to earn them..
