Speaking of Blair … The undersized center ripped down a Mavericks’ season-high 18 rebounds against the Hawks and was a physical presence all night long. Of course, there were a lot of rebounds to get considering the Mavericks shot just 37.7 percent. Blair played a 26 minutes and it’s going to be increasingly difficult for Rick Carlisle to sit Blair for long stretches if he continues to produce like he has lately. The guy is too active and since most NBA teams don’t have huge, dominant centers anymore, the Mavericks can get away with playing the 6-7 Blair because his power and low center of gravity can work in his favor.

Blair's defense is so bad that literally anything he contributes on the other end or in rebounding will never be enough to make up for his deficiencies.

    6'7 center

pro basketball player buying jewelry on credit
    terrible singer

ah, I remember the days of liking a 6'6 center who hustled for the ball. then he turned into a fat tub of and grease and didn't do on the court.

He's been decent but his lazy ass defense against Horford gave up the gamewinner.

don't bother. he constantly refers to Blair's "30/20" games from the spurs even though he never cracked 30 points in his career

It's all about using him the right way imho. He can be a liability on the court if you organize your offensive game through him or if you count on him big in defense. he's certainly not a star player who could escalate your team dramatically but as a role player he's solid and decent enough. you can bring him into the game when you need a change (like how you used JJB back then) but you better not use him as a regular one tbh

my blair would always do a good job playing against softies but I'd rather see Marion playing PF as a regular backup for Dirk, with Crowder and Carter playing more at SF, so our talented young guards would also have more playing time. We need to keep the ball moving but it's very hard to do that with Blair playing on the court imho. I still like this player because he's my , but I have to admit that his game is flawed and limited.
