Aggsy have not beaten a single ranked SEC team this year. Missouri has impressed me a lot, but outside of catching Bama sleeping, the ags are exactly where we thought they would be.
Everyone thought the Big 12 schools that moved to the SEC would get curbstomped. Instead, last year A&M dominated, and this year Missouri did.
Meanwhile looking at other schools that moved in/out of the Big 12.
-West Virginia had half a good year and has licked balls ever since
-TCU has basically licked balls the entire time
-Colorado went to the Pac 12 and continues to lick balls
-Nebraska has neither improved nor declined after moving to the Big 10.
The only conference where team joined and got better was in the SEC![]()

UT and OU are in down years, but the rest of the conference is the same as the rest in any of the other power conferences.
Didn't aTm all over the Sooners in the Cotton bowl last year. Yeah, they did.
SECfan cant read
Yes A&M, that perennial SEC power house did, you're right.
Thread blows
The BCS system was practically built to overrate the SEC, tbh....

It's really not a surprise that the SEC wins the "national championship" every year when the polls pretty much force it to happen from day one of the season, tbh.....
The SEC clearly has some very good programs (LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida before Muschamp wrecked the program), but like every other conference, they also have absolute at the bottom (Kentucky, Tennessee after the '90s, Vandy until recently), and their streak has been aided by a corrupt bull system....

I wouldn't call Georgia a good program though. They the bed every single year, even when they had AJ Green. What is amazing though is Saban dominating the national championships within the SEC, and people saying "look how dominant the SEC is" when it really isn't.
Let me clear things up for you. TCU had Boise State fever for two years. They don't belong in an AQ conference. Nebraska hasn't been a dynasty since the 90's, Colorado has always been the Vanderbilt of the Big 12 until they moved on. When Colorado left, they actually strengthened the Big 12. West Virginia has never been good. It just goes to show you how desperate the Big 12 was to keep the conference together that they would have just abut taken anyone.
That aTm team last year would have smoked any other conference in the Country. As it was, they lost two conference games. Mizzou happens to be playing in the SEC least. Florida's dreadful, Georgia was battling significant injuries on offense and aTm had no defense. If you have a QB, you can compete in any conference in the country. Neither of those teams will be perennial contenders.
Ranked ahead of y'all, as per par?![]()
I disagree. Georgia has finished in top 5 three times since Richt took over. They've won 2 SEC les, 5 SEC East championships and 3 BCS Bowl appearances and have had numerous guys drafted. They were probably the 2nd best team in the country last season.
And the numbers show that the SEC has been the best conference since 2007 with the exception of 2011 with the Big 12 being the best. I thought Okie State got screwed that season. They had a better resume than Bama and should have played LSU in the le game. The Big 12 was deeper than the SEC that season.
Only 130,000 viewers? And that's the network that made Aggy get all butthurt and run away from the Big 12?![]()
Aggy goes to another conference, still obswssed with daddeh.
They're our rival.
All the talk at DKR on Thanksgiving was about how it wasn't the same without A&M, so the obsession goes both ways.
DWI
as per par?
That's the problem. Its a rivalry only to A&M
Holy
That's terrible. Can LHN survive with those numbers?
You're wrong, but that's nothing new.
Bull crap, all the talk at Thanks Giving was about replacing Mack, aggsy never were hardly mentioned, except how overrated they are.
Keep in mind the LHN as a network is a bargain for ESPN, Texas gets about 15 mil a year off the channel so all together it's probably costing them about 20 mil to run the channel. Starting next year it will be packaged with the SEC network and pretty much everyone will be carrying it. At that point it will become very profitable.
There is already talk about adding other Texas system schools to the network such as UTEP, UTSA, and maybe even Tex state games. Time will tell, but it lost a big battle when they weren't allowed to show Texas high school football games, but I have a feeling that will be overruled in the near future. The channel belongs to ESPN and they have a right to air anything they want on that channel.
Are the SECN and the LHN being added to the sports package? If not, they can gft. Most people don't want their base rate increased for that .
