This was an epic fail. Why didn't the NBA pick a damn soccer/futbol stadium and put a basketball court on the grass and then sell the out of the tickets? The NBA could have sold like 50,000 to 100,000 tickets to the game that way.

But for time difference I'd rather the games be played in Beijing or London at least those cities wouldn't mess things up so bad like the s did. Those cities have the facilities to even host Olympic games which says enough imho.
