board slowness

ezboard is obviously having problems today as the forum is very slow.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I reported the problem and I hope it will be resolved shortly.

I think that I might want to switch FSP onto another forum software which we would host ourselves. It would be more costly, but it may be more reliable. I don't like the fact that we'd all have to transition to it though. We'll see.

Well we are revamping a lot of FSP stuff before the season.

We will probably use VBulletin if we switch.

But people would have to re-register obviously. I could transfer over post counts and all that. I just don't know if switching is worth it. I'm not worried about cost. ezboard isn't cheap already. I'm just worried about the whole hassle of transfer.

As for the chatroom, we have use of WOAI's chatroom -- it's Digichat.

They are still working on it.

They were hacked with a flood of service and some other stuff happened to them.

Today a lot of posts show as empty in a certain time frame.

Screen signatures should be limited to 3-5 words. Some of these s are out of control.
