Isn't it in LA ol' sport?
Standing ovation
Cheers
Boos
Mix of cheers and boos
Assuming he checks in...
Save this for later lol
If he played in San Antonio and actually checked in, mixed reaction.
It's a shame that there would be some cheers for him if the game was in San Antonio. He quit the team and badmouthed several players, and also wore Heat gear and rooted against the Spurs in the Finals. Not to mention how many times he's taunted Spurs fans on social media.
Anyone who cheers him when the Clippers play here is not a true Spurs fan. SJAX hates the Spurs. And so do you if you cheer for him.
If it was a home game I wouldn't expect all that much, the majority of the people that go to those games are casual fans and dont follow much of what goes on in the sport, and most likely don't even know the deal with him. Or that he is now on the clippers for that matter.![]()
The contrary is true. Former Spurs players and coaches generally receive warm ovations when introduced. Coach Bud and George Hill both got nice receptions this season.
That is true, you have a point.
Speaking of which does anyone know what kind of reception Richard Jefferson has had?
Golden State had him buried deep on the bench and I can't recall what reaction, if any, he got when he subbed into a game. He starts for Utah, so we'll see when they come to town in January.
It'll be a bit quiet, all the fans are at concessions. (If it was taking place in S.A.)
