I've heard from numerous sources, who have knowledge of the situation, that the Spurs may face discplinary actions for resting its stars in tonight's TNT showcase. If anyone is unaware, last year the Spurs were fined an unprecendented $250,000 for resting its players in a similar situation (TNT Thursday night game in which they paid a ton of money to broadcast) -- so this within Stern's rights. Btw for those laughing, I'm a writer/reporter of one of the biggest towns in the US. I have a press pass and everything; accuratecy and integrity are two of most important principles.

No offense to your skills or profession but misspelling accuracy is delicious irony...
You can't even accurately spell "accuracy".
The key to getting fined, well what they rested their hat on, was that the Spurs didn't give 24 hr notice to other team and league wasn't it? Surely PATFA got it together enough to do that? Any light on that?
Why the heck would this be deleted or pinked? I'm just telling you exactly what my sources are telling me around the league. When you're a reporter as long as I have been and have done multiple interviews and stories, you build up your contacts and have inside information. I take my journalism profession very seriously.
mute, next time you start this kind of thread, you're gone.
