TJ Maxx had a compromise for 17 months sometime last year--so I think if you don't have a dedicated monitoring group or person, it happens with the advancement of the dependency on card usage. Yeah, I'm thankful they let me know because they are usually stellar at protecting my account.

I get the humor and all that but tbh it's really her account with me as one of the card holders so it's not like I'm technically on the hook for that. It's not like she's a shopaholic or anything, just visiting family for the holidays and obviously not working hence the need to use the card.

I have no real need for a CC but the woman felt she wanted another which I could use as well. Thoughtful imo tbh
