If he's the best option to acquire Lowry or some other PG. While Hill has also had games of 8 or more assists sprinkled in, he's being forced to play a role he was never meant to.

Never seen a starting PG play 27 minutes and not record a single assist. Hill is the turd in that punch bowl. He stands out as being woefully incapable of leading that team. Nothing against George, but I can always know when I look at their box score that he will be the outlier.
Also, on the drop down menu, how did the Pacers get stuck between the Heat and the Hawks?
If he's the best option to acquire Lowry or some other PG. While Hill has also had games of 8 or more assists sprinkled in, he's being forced to play a role he was never meant to.
Hill as a clutch shooter & solid defender is still helping the team in some way I think. If you've watched recent mavs games or at least seen their boxscores, you'd have noticed that Caldron's assists number has also been decreasing as his score increases, meanwhile Monta often leads our team in assists these days (his scoring remaining good, and with better efficiency). I think a PG may still help his team even without dishing out massive assists imho.
He's always looked out of sorts in the PG role. He should be a 2 guard where he can flourish. Obviously isn't hurting them too much though as they own a better record than the CHeat at this juncture.
They ought to like package him with granger for someone like Lowry
I wouldn't trade him, he would be a very solid 6/7th man and defensive option against both 1s and 2s, tbh..
I don't think he's a starter, but they're much better off moving Granger's contract for a starting PG instead..
lance and paul george handles the point half the time anyways, no need.
granger and hill needs to go....
lance is going to get paid, and pacers need to find a way to fit him in their budget, those 2 above mention should be the start for a move...
granger is basically useless on this team now but he's still a fan favorite over there so he's probably not gonna get traded anytime soon. plus granger is an expiring contract so the Pacers can keep him hoping to re-sign him for minimum salary come 14' summer, and they're gonna need $$$ to re-sign Paul George whose contract is also expiring come summer next year. They're within 2m of the TAX line and paying the tax would be a financial catastrophe to this team, considering the size of the market where they're based, and their poor attendance rate despite their holy record. And who in the do you think will want to take a PG who doesn't pass for and who earns 8m a year?
Rubio played 38min and got zero point and Minny is gonna give him the max * 5years they didn't give to Love lol...
RUBIO is fkn overrated, his a calderon clone...wont shoot even if free from any defense, too busy protecting that high efficiency and making sportcenter passes...
Pacers could use Lowry, he's a better playmaker and a scorer, more efficient on a tier team as well and virtually as good from 3, but with 2 more attempts per game.
^ that would be a sick trade but how would they pay Stevenson if the got Rondo?
Would be a great pickup for the Spurs besides the money. Bonner, De Colo and a first would work. Maybe throw in Ayres and get back Copeland.
He's what the team needs, but that contract is an albatross for a non-starter and non-6MOY candidate.
/thread.
You couldn't get Hill for that, much less Granger.
That article is nonsense. we dont even have our first round pick for next season, we traded it to the suns
I think that first of all you need to be at least an above-average defender to get a job on the Pacers team imho. Lowry might look poor defensively playing in Houston but that was because no one bothered to play D down there in the anus of this country. can be a very solid defensive piece if fixed in the right system imho.
