    It was going to be all on the shoulders of the offense regardless. I'd be more concerned about Welker. But this certainly sucks for Denver, as he is certainly their best player on that side of the ball, and they've lost a few others already.

    This is the most injury prone defense the Broncos have had in my lifetime, tbh..

    Virtually every game, there has been at least a few defensive starters out of the lineup..

    No excuses, though, Patriots' defense is just as banged up IIRC..

    I don't think so this year. Spur addict said it earlier, this season was always on the offense. The defense has been just as worthless with Miller in as they have been without.
