Wrong thread asshole!
Let's work out these kinks and hit our stride in a few months. It'll all work out.
Tbh, I would actually be a little conccerned if we were firing on all cylinders right now.
This doesn't look like a slump. Which makes it more concerning.
I would rather not slum now and not in April.
And there are some true issues with that team. Spurs are showing worrisome limitations.
Really?
people are crazy to deny it.
Loser's mentality from the loser OP
Well yeah, I would rather not slump at all.
But some slumps look more serious than others. We also have several players recovering from inuries and part of me think even Kawhi is not 100%. I also think we did not have an optimal lineup tonight. As much as I've been saying Danny Green isn't playing his greatest, he should be starting. Marco does so much better off the bench.
Says the guy who doubts that we'll get back to the finals.
speaking of now instead of april.
why not see what malcolm thomas can do now? your telling me he can't get 5-10 minutes to see what he has? especially with a team that plays small ball like houston. his length would have been great on casspi, parsons, or jones.
It's not like bonner play is keeping him on the bench.
Truth bombs!!!
Hopefully most here can handle it.
I'll give the benefit of the doubt. While there are some stretches of real ty D, our best defensive lineup from last season is intact. They just need to play better.
Spurs have an easy upcoming schedule, so they can use this time to work out the rough spots and flaws in their overall game. Improve the defense, work on ball flow, and get the shooting down a little more, and this team will be back in it. I know they've lost to OKC twice, Houston twice, and the Pacers, but those games all mean NOTHING as long as Spurs secure a good spot in the playoffs. Thunder are bound to tank
You guys do realize that the other elite teams will also be ratcheting it up later in the season as well right?
Csn you also tell me the winning lottery numbers in April?
tbfh, its as if only the Spurs are going to turn it up later on. other younger teams are also going to be fighting for position and home court
Last season though, there was a lot of talk on how the Spurs needed the top record, etc and seeding ended up working to our advantage. While you do want to win as many games as possible, and obviously improve, it's too early to talk about positioning, IMO
The only good take I've read here in a long while.
Our path to the Finals was one of great fortune, not so much this year.
You guys are in trouble especially when you think a guy like Kawhi can carry your team. I will say it and that is Kawhi will never ever ever be a special player. This guy is only a solid player at best who can get you 10-12 points and 7 boards thats it.
