don't remember, but i think the telephone modem was the funniest part.. "hang it up!"
In the movie War Games with Matthew Broderick, what was the computer he used to hack into the WOPOR?
I say it is a commodore 64...but my boyfriend says it is another more obscure brand. We were just talking last and this came up.
If you have a link on this info please post it.....I have search all over the internet and can't find it.

Yeah....we remeber the "cradle" the reciever sat in? Geez that was old fashioned for us now.
He used the IMSAI 8080.

Were some of you even born when War Games came out?![]()
Yes.....I was born in 1964....I just could not remember the brand of computer he used.
Why do you ask?
I wasn't directing that towards you. But a lot of 'clubber's' are young ones and probably have never heard of it, let alone seen it!
It was also a joke, hence the![]()

I was born in 1984 and I have seen that movie plenty of times.
Not me. I was just a glint in the mailman's eye.
Born in '79 and watched this movie over and over as a kid.
I didn't think so....![]()
Great flick. I remember Ma Bell wigged out when they showed Matthew Broderick using a pull-tab (yes, young-ins...a pull tab) to get a free phone call.
for those of you who don't know what a pull tab is...

I was born in '77 and saw it several times.
Bye the way those pull tabs sucked.
especially if you stepped on one!
I loved the movie, but it kinda freaked me out too...That and the movie called The Day After about nuclear war...Anybody remember that one?
I do...it was on TVLand recently.....cheezy effects (now) but still creepy.
