I don't know, I'm old school when it comes to rap:
Is it me or have these two genres almost completely blended together in the modern era?
I don't know, I'm old school when it comes to rap:
It could be, but I think rap and hiphop are definitely one and the same now and have been for a while.
I think they've come a lot closer
Seems to be a need bread of indie RnB/Rappers
Yeah tbh. There've been hybrids in this new generation of music. Some of it is IPod worthy, some of it sucks.
Pretty much. Trash like Miley Cyrus continue to blur the line of the typical "rap/r&b/hip-hop" station with lame ass soft contemporary garbage because she made a couple of tracks with Juicy J after blowing him and his crew.
Fifty Cent and Bone ruined hip hop by making it into a ty R&B.
real hip hop still lives... you monkeys just aint looking hard enough.... go pick up an action bronson, flatbush zombies, chance the rapper, currensy, or danny brown mixtape/album
Nah, there's still a difference.... "rap" is the commercialized you hear on the radio that barely sounds different from pop or R&B, "hip-hop" tends to be the more conscious, intelligent underground form of the genre....
You take back what you said about BONE right ing now!
Sick beat tbh. Loopable outro too.
thats a harry fraud beat.. probably one of his better beats... his production is great on 90% of stuff.
No . Somebody needs to pop him in the mouth.
That is not rap and never was.
There are two categories for music: Good, and garbage.
LOL singing gots in Bone supposed to be hardcore hiphop. Can't believe how ty they got from Eternal and on when Creepin was such a solid EP.
i thought the Wu, namely RZA, discussed this at length almost 20 years ago
Yes it is. Have you ever looked up any definition for it? Did you play the Youtube clip and listen to the rhythm?
Aerosmith was rapping before the term came about. Here are three links:
rap music - genre of African-American music of the 1980s and 1990s in which rhyming lyrics are chanted to a musical accompaniment; several forms of rap have emerged
6. Rap music
the real definition of rap music is using fast paced rhyming verses accompanied with a heavy beat an synthesizing rhythms.
a : a rhythmic chanting often in unison of usually rhymed couplets to a musical accompaniment
Maybe this is your definition for rap:
1. Rap music
Summed up in five words: , ho, , pussy, rims
You're ing crazy E. 1999 is a classic, every song from top to bottom is good. One of the best rap albums to ever come out in my opinion. Dark production, and each member at their best.
They have "In Harmony" in their name, and you don't expect them to be singing?
At that time the Art of War double disc is where they changed their sound because DJ U-Neek was no longer the sole producer, but when you compare that album today to the ones that came after, the Art of War seems like a "old school" BONE album looking back.
What do you call this:
E.1999 is a piece of ; every song from top to bottom is ing garbage, except Shotz to the Double Glock.
pretty telling when most of the top ten rap acts are white
Beastie Boys
Eminem
Vanillia Ice (don't hate on that)
Living Color
House of Pain
Quarashi
Such blasphemy. You're ruining your credibility when you say stuff like this. I'm willing to forgive and forget though.
