Teenager Pulls Knife On Father After Not Getting An iPhone For Christmas

Reports are suggesting that an 18-year old from Massachusetts was arrested on Christmas day after apparently pulling a knife on his own father. The Enterprise reports that Alexander Torres attacked his father and several other family members, all because he didn’t get the Apple iPhone he wanted for Christmas.

Lieutenant Bruce Zeidman of the Brockton Police said that when the officers arrived, Torres was fighting family members and although his father wasn’t injured in the incident, his stepbrother was taken to a nearby medical center to be treated for injuries.



Torres was arrested and charged with “assault and battery with a dangerous weapon” as well as “assault and battery and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.”

It is not known whether Torres received a different smartphone as a gift but only that he didn’t get the one he wanted. There was also no mention of whether the desired iPhone was purchased but just never arrived due to delivery delays.

Alexander Torres, 18, of Brockton was arrested on five charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of Class D substance, state police spokesman David Procopio said.

Torres was to be arraigned Monday in Taunton District Court.

Don't iphones suck? If you drop them, they shatter. Why can't these little peckers just have simple flip phones that cost 35 to 50 dollars a month? Apps, music, video, and pics are very overrated on cell phones in my opinion.

that applies to all smartphones not made chinese brand, are made with glass screens...

if u shatter ur glass screen, the repair costs is like half of the phone you purchased it...

dont go the ebay or 3rd party route to get that screen repaired cause it is not repaird in a dusts free room environment

That's why you get a cheap flip phone that has a plastic screen and can be replaced for 20 dollars if you break it. Smartphones are overrated and overpriced.
