Lucky break.
Spurs and T'Wolves makeup game is April 8 in Minneapolis. Spurs could have been saddled with back-to-back-to-back (which happened last year to the Pacers as the result of a postponement). Instead, they get a game with off days on each side.

Thread le made me think the game was still going to be in Mexico City. My next thought was "I guess we're looking at an 81-game season for the Spurs, then."
The T'Wolves are getting the extra B2B instead. And no game the day before or after both Miami games this season
Seems like the NBA were afraid that pop wouldn't send the big 3 to Mexico in a B2B. Paying the fine and still resting the starters when the schedule is absurd seems to work!
We should never send pro athletes to Mexico, except Rodman.

They sent Spurs because Lakers suck and Miami Heat do not have a Latino player
