    NBA is pretty lame until after the AS break tbh. Has a baseball regular-season feel to it before that, but with some highlight dunks sprinkled in to bide your time. Even when football ends, they have a month of interest before the next best thing--March Madness--once that's over then the NBA takes over

    have to agree somewhat. I blame the massive amount of meaningless games and the state of the compe ion level. It's no surprise former basketball players don't watch NBA and prefer to watch the college game.

    the first thing they would need to do is reduce the # of games to about 65, from 82. But of course that'll never happen, the greedy slavemasters would never allow this.

    The NBA is uninteresting as until after the break--even the players agree.During LA's 7 le runs and 5 rings, they only went balls out in tje regular season twice (2000 and 2009)

    Agreed. Less games would be better. Football does great because less games creates more meaning.

    I think its the over exposure with every game on TV. Back in the day, the midweek games on tnt/tbs were big. Even bigger were the double header on NBC on Sundays after the football season ended. Now there are network games Tues (NBATV), Weds, Thurdays, Fridays, then Sundays after football.

    Its like Chris Rock said...if pussy was a stock, its value would be way down because its everywhere. Anyone can get it now really easy.

    The compe ion isn't that great either. So many injuries and half the teams are tanking for a lottery pick. Games are mostly blowouts and we rarely have guards putting up 40-50 point games like they're nothing. I miss the mid-2000s so much.
