A flyer promoting a MLK Day party is drawing serious outrage online due to it depicting the beloved civil rights activist wearing a gold chain, gold watch, and tattoos on his arms. People were even more angry at teh phrase "Freedom 2 Twerk" written on the January 18th promotional piece.
The poster seemed to be targeted for teens, but people of all ages were expressing how distasteful they found the flyer. One Twitter user wrote, "Freedom to Twerk Martin Luther King Day Weekend party".....smh, ya'll n*ggaz completely lost man....LOL." Another person added, "anyone supporting this freedom to twerk crap needs to be slapped, end of story. Stop making yourself look dumb."
