yes
Are you better off now, than you were 6 years ago?
Try to answer honestly
Ask yourself this.."Self, if I am not doing better than I was 6 years ago, what am I doing wrong?"
The person in the Oval Office has very, very little to do with one's self being. You are what you make of yourself and no president is going to change that.
But I must admit that I'm feeding my fat wallet very well these days thanks to the generous tax cut Bush gave me.

The multiple characters thing is getting . . . how should I put this . . . OLD!
Sounds like a personal problem to me.
This is a political forum and ALL sides are welcome.
Considering I was in college 6 years ago donating plasma as my primary source of income and working concessions at a movie theater during the summer, I would have to say yes.
no. no I am not.
in the last 6 yrs I (as in my hubby and I) have lost:
jobs
job security
credit
25k a yr
damn economy.

haha.. this is hilarious, but very true... if you aren't doing better, what are YOU doing differently?
yep.....but it has nothing to do with anything political.
yep, I am.
1999: personal $49k/year; family $49k/year
2005: personal $71k/year; family $110k/year
1999: cheap 1-bedroom apt
2005: 4-bedroom, 2-bath 2000 sqft house in the suburbs
1999: net worth $0
2005: net worth ~$60,000
Unfair comparison, though. In 1999, I was fresh out of college and single.
yes
Well, I recently had a heart attack. So yes, I guess I was better off 6 years ago. But the good news is that I finally quit smoking.
Financially, yes. Facially, NO!
