In HS he was often compared to Antawn Jamison.
Even of a poor-man's version of the NBA Jamison, that'll be pretty good.
Dude is ballin'. He's been a surprise for the Rockets, doing as much as anyone on the team, often more. Legit or flukey?

Terrance Jones was a first rounder. 18th pick of the draft and a University of Kentucky standout. Yeah I'd say he's legit.
I always liked this guy and thought he was really underrated at UK. Guy was big, physical, could handle the ball well, shoot from the outside, and play down low. Really reminded me of a slightly less fluid Lamar Odom, but I think he can legitimately be that good some day
Jones seems to me to be much more of a bruiser than Jamison or Odom, without really possessing either's consistent scoring ability (less of a jump shooter than the former, less of a playmaker than the latter).
Still, the kid is damn good, and legit. Surprised it took him this look to show flashes of serious potential.
Blame McHale's piss-poor roster management last year.

Turn on your sig, Mitc .
Legit. He's a good fit for that offense. Just barely turned 22 also, his best days are ahead of him. If/when he starts consistently knocking down jumpers he could serious.
i'd say sell tbh, tweeners are tweeners, he'll get exposed on D in the post season most likely.
Welcher
I like him , now if he could just develop a consistent shot, but then again he is only 22 and in his 2nd year.
a stretch four would always flourish playing alongside DH imho.
Needs to put on some more weight, but yeah he could be legit. Work on his post game and a jumper.

Other than taking 4 steps to finish the play, pretty athletic.
Really? I always thought this guy was even a little bit bulky for a NBA player. I think he's almost the perfect size at 250 with DET athleticism, I think he should just stay where he is.
But Morey doesn't think we have our third star so he'll do his typical thing and trade him.
Ain't you guys already having that 3rd star in the form of Rin (who you're gonna pay 14 million dollars for next year's service)?
lol Lin can put up Linsanity numbers again only if he plays for the Lakers and Dantoni. Never gonna happen with McHale.
Kevin Lowry and Mchale. Something about McHale and point guards...hmm?

Kyle Lowry expects the Houston Rockets' backcourt to look a little different next season.
The Rockets guard told the Houston Chronicle on Friday that he does not think he andGoran Dragic will both return next season. And he is especially unlikely to play for Houston if Kevin McHale returns as coach.
“"I don't think so," Lowry told the newspaper about playing under McHale. "I honestly think it would be tough. Things have to be addressed. The situation would have to be addressed. If things aren't addressed coaching-wise, I guess I have to be moved.

I wanted the Hornets/Pelicans to draft him at 10 last year instead of Austin Rivers. He has a good all-around game with a 7'3 wingspan, 7% body fat and a great vertical. He won't ever be an offensive option, but he can develop into a solid scorer while defending, rebounding, ans getting some assists.
You watch, Morey is going to package Asik, Lin, Jones, or Parson's for Bosh or LaMarcus Aldridge and a guard upgrade.
