i still think he's a legit talent, but a team has to embrace him as a point guard/forward
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...evans-in-tradeThe New Orleans Pelicans (15-24) are reportedly looking to find trade suitors for Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans prior to the NBA trade deadline.

letting Robin Lopez walk for this

He wants to be the center of attention and he isn't that good. Now he's overpaid, and probably more interested in burning through cash than playing the game.
It's not that he's not talented, he's just continually mailing it in. He had a major rookie season in Sacto, then mailed it in. Now he mailed it in on the Pelicans just months after getting paid.
Horrible contract and yet owners want to bend the NBA players over.
Why don't you grow a brain, sticks.
yeah, i was intrigued by evans as a free agent, but that offer... reminds me of when GS overpaid the for corey maggette
He's horrible and has the unique career feature of getting worse every year. The fellaters on this site in the offseason, lining up to gurgle his balls and finger his ass if he'd come to their team, should own up. Mostly upstairs but I seem to recall some of those gots down here too.
I remember when he was going to be the link twixt Doug Christie's Kings---the new Kings---and the Lakers.
Uh, uh.
18% from distance but still averaging more than 1 attempt per game
41% shooting for a "slasher"

Losing Robin Lopez left them rail thin in the paint imho. Tyreke is a valuable player but it still didn't make much sense to me that they walked a solid defensive big only to make room for a guard when they already had cornerstone and holiday on the backcourt. Maybe they just wanted to pile up trading assets (like the Lockets did in the past years). Surely at that time no one could predict Robin would flourish in Portland, nor could one envision that the Blazers would be the "guest" team of the west this season.
One of the 5 most overrated players of the past 5 years, tbh..
