"We'd take Sanchez," the coach told the newspaper. "He'd be the starter as soon as he walked in the door for us." "Supply and demand," one executive told the Post. ()

Nobody would be surprised to see New York part ways with Sanchez, who coughed up 52 turnovers during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Does anyone here actually hold the same opinion? Granted, a new start could help anyone, but at this point I'd rather draft a guy and throw him into the fire, as opposed to bringing in a known loser. Guy turns the ball over at a rate wayyy too high tbh. What team coach, and executive could be saying this absurd nonsense?? Any guesses?

68 TDs and 69 INTs to date. And then there's this...

I would hope not . I wouldn't mind bringing him into camp to compete with a guy I drafted, but to say definitively that he'd start him is craziness. In what might be a make or break year for Allen, how in the do you put your hope in Sanchez? He might feel it's safer than a rookie, but with where you're drafting at, a building block might be there.
SpursFan313, solid point. But why Sanchez, and why now? The guy is possibly a few months to obscurity.

I don't think it was Jacksonville, Henne is 6 and 1 comparatively IMO. Hoyer is better in Cleveland even if he's coming off surgery. Is enhunt this stupid over in Tennessee? Perhaps. I don't think anyone would rule it out with him Minnesota is a wreck, but as respected as Zimmer is, why would he say this? Makes no sense.

As awful as Sanchez has been, there may be some trash franchise that would start him. Houston? Tampa Bay? Idk

Moves for those teams seem like a lateral move imo. Glennon may improve in what will be a full offseason knowing he's the starter, and getting the 1st team reps all the way until game one of next year. Unless they decide to go another way at QB. It wasn't a disaster at QB for Glennon, he did have a nice TD to INT ratio. Houston certainly has a need at QB, but I wouldn't bother paying Sanchez when he's no better than Keenum. Why bother wasting the money? As a team member, it wouldn't make me feel any more comfortable having him as the starter.

Certainly seems so. You'd think because it's NFL.Com they wouldn't need to create stories, but I guess everyone does. Unless it's Oakland like spurraider21 said.
