You don't like Relapse? Thought it was an amazing piece of work, songs such as DeJa Vu and Same Song And Dance have brilliant concepts, those two songs literally on all Recovery.
Relapse was so bad that Em literally apologized for it on "Not Afraid"
I'd take my music over yours any day of the week, but you'll call it because your one ignorant er, quite a blessing to be a foreigner tbh.
Otherside is Macklemore's best song and he is custom made for the Grammys. I don't really listen to what's posed as 'rap/hip-hop' on awards shows as they miss tons of great music or acts that don't get the publication. Chance the Rapper and Danny Brown come to mind. TDE of course, which, is probably closer to toeing the line of 'mainstream' with K.Dot becoming Grammy nominated this year. The Same Love song has been beaten into our conscious but it was a prudent move to come up with a song of that nature at this point of time. As a hip hop aficionado, I can't get mad at Macklemore & Ryan Lewis--they're capitalizing and I'd do the same if I were in their Jordans.

Recovery was alright, it was too poppy though. Not Afraid has to be the most corny song he ever did.
Recovery was definitely worse (I'm such a hero for having millions of dollars to spend on rehab in order to beat addiction
