Worst call ever..
6. Should have been a 4 point play with a foul on the defender. If he hits the free throw, that's 4, +2. Insane.
Were there two tech FTs? That makes it worse.

he did stretch the leg for no reason though, the guy could have gotten seriously injured.
Only pussies & assholes blame the officiating.
Probably one of the worst calls if not the worst call this season imho, it's amazing how NBA refs can blow calls and the moment anyone has any reaction they get T'd up. Pathetic if you ask me. I'm actually surprised things like Noah's recent outburst on the refs don't happen more often.
Lowry has been on the end of 2 of the worst late-game offensive foul calls this season. First in Brooklyn now this. Wake me up when they start fining referees.
Wow dude's getting screwed this year. No all-star vote & now a ty call.
Not blaming nada, just pointing out inep udes.
Adam Silver was at that game, Kings got 51 FTA tbh
BS. You're playing the ref card. It's pussy & assholish.
You're a little old to be dressing up as an ostrich and sticking your head in the sand, aren't you?
So when will the NBA give a ty apology but offer no do over?
Fromwaydowntown, I see you lurking. Your thoughts?
Good call tbh. Lowry kicked the defender's leg out from under him. He wasn't knocked down by the defender.
So the rookie did not throw himself at Lowry?
NBA refs just being NBA refs nothing to see here move along.
Here's the real issue:
1. Game score situation was close. That seems to make people think calls are more important. Rarely is a 1st quarter call reviewed by fans.
2. Lowry has a history of kicking his leg out to gain separation and to attempt to draw a foul. He was caught that time. He did not need to throw his leg out into the defender to make that shot. If that's his "natural motion" he needs to fix it.
3. The shooter has the right to rise up and come down unimpeded, but he doesn't have the right to impede the landing of the defender, especially if that motion can cause an injury.
4. It doesn't matter who the defender was, rookie or not. Lowry kicked his legs out from under him.
5. The defender jumped toward the shooter but did not make contact. anywhere but the leg which was caused by Lowry, not by the defender.
Here you can see that the defender jumped across the shooter's path, not on top of the shooter, but the shooter stuck a leg out and tripped the defender in an attempt to draw a foul.
