Not a big fan of that sort of method of trying to get a true read on a football player. The game goes far beyond those sort of measureables. It's more about the love for the game, willing to make sacrifices, playing hurt, needing to win.

Olympic 100m champion Jimmy Hines was the first human to ever run a legal sub10.00. When he became a Dolphin in 69 he was on a whole other level speed wise than anyone, the cat couldn't catch a cold, he was no football player. Right before Hines the Dolphins had brought in John Roderick a 9.3yds white cat out of SMU (still the fastest paleface NFLer ever) he sucked. Had a couple ty years, gone~ So much for..just.. speed.

Rocket Ismail is the fastest thing I've ever seen under football conditions, the guy could stop and start, cut and manuevar at near max jets. He didn't run a great 40.

I'd put everything into what we saw from tapes of the games, the standing long jump, how high someone can jump, and all that silly . I wanna know about how much the game means to a guy, will he be there for you? Give me a cat who loves football has a mean disposition and loves to hurt people over a cat who is more physically gifted without that...grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Jadeveon Clowney looks like a monster, he has all the measureables the NFL people want in defensive player, or does he? I get the impression once he makes some real $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ he's going to be a disapointment, I don't see the love of the game out of him.
