Earth revolves around the moon though
A National Science Foundation survey offers a sobering reflection of knowledge in today's all-knowing world. Many people really do believe the sun circles the Earth.
And more than half don't know that humans evolved from animals.

It depends on the perspective from which you view the universe imho. Americans believe in freedom which allows and encourages them to doubt anything. Americans believe the truth they found using their own eyes and ears, rather than what the authority says, that's why the United States of America became the greatest country of the world and will forever be, tbh.
"And more than half don't know that humans evolved from animals."
and many think humans aren't animals
And more then half don't know that humans evolved from The Great Dustspeck.

No, actually, it doesn't. The sun does not orbit the earth in any meaningful sense. This is not subject to perspective, unless one is a complete moron.
Americans are re s, so it's not surprising. Now what's really crazy is this:
But I bet they know all about "climate change".![]()
To be fair, if the GOP Platform stated the the earth revolves around the sun, boutons would say nope too.
Eyes and ears that don't have a connection to a brain apparently.
Humans did not evolve from present day animals.
Many people look at the present day chimp and say I did not evolve from that.
The word ancestor is not well understood and for most who don't understand biological science ancestors can't be traced back further than what one hunts down about their family tree online and courthouses.

You Lie (iow, you're a right wing dingbat)
earth revolves around the milky way center
It is statements like that, which lend credence to the claims that the right-wing in this country is actively waging a war on science.
I find it a little sad to see so many of my countrymen fall victim to well-run industry propaganda campaigns, and fall all over themselves to be "pro-business" whatever that means, and adopt whatever illogical policy positions that the spin doctors can come up with.
How does it feel to be a useful idiot?
I knew you'd be the one most butthurt over that little jab.
You are as predictable as I am, yes.
Shall we?
