Use to be this one, but it's troll population has grown excessively.
Regardless of the Kool's and Avante's I still like this one. It isn't as informative as it used to be though.
I liked the 101X forum when it was around years ago. That one was similar to how this one was. People would actually meet up and hang out.

Somethingawful's forums before the split
This is the only one.
Every other one, sports/non sports can dish it, but, they can never take it. They run & tell.
NOT -spurstalk
ST and NBAWire (RIP). The misc on bodybuilding.com is cool too.
The Bodybuilding forum, even though it contains the infamous Teen section, has the best mix of diversity and relaxed moderation.
bodybuilding is good. firesofheaven was hilarious for a gaming board before the fallout.
Motorsports forum.
And what do you consider a TRoll?
The first forum was RATT aka Radio Teletype
It was 1979 and we would meet online and try to disrupt enemy signals and send fake messages it's almost like the military was paying us to TRoll.
Then I hit a few BBS in the 80s started to get laid so I was offline (no PC) until around 1995-1996 when I posted at Art Bell's "Grassy Knoll" then it was RTT aka Rack The TRolls WOAI PMSA The Underground, Jim Romes Smack chat (where the real TRolls emerged from) ClubSpurs, Spurs Report "Cantina" The Other The, MavTalk then settled at SpursTalk and MySpace until 2002-04 when FaceBook was the ran into some people at MIT and we started to debate monthly.
try the SAFILM Facebook page cool topics nice people and money to be made if your looking for 40-80 a day and learning about film.
And for all the haters and whiners ....a forum is what you make it out to be.
and stop feeding the TRolls.

There're many forums that are more likable than Spurstalk, like some academic forums where you'd feel you can learn new knowledge everyday, but Spurstalk is probably the only forum on the entire internet where you can post whatever you wanna say without no concern of getting banned. Bad news for people who aren't ST members yet but want to be is that ST hasn't approved any new accounts for years it seems like.
Any of you Austinites ever visit the 101X site when it was still up and running? I have seen some of the same names which could be coincidence but I also saw a same name and avatar once.
