"There's a couple things that could've been done, but that's over with now," Howard said with a coy smile Tuesday afternoon. "I'm in a better place, our team is doing great and the Lakers, they'll come back. But hopefully this is the Rockets' time."
Whatever the case, both sides have moved on -- in largely different directions.
Howard's Rockets won seven games in a row heading into the All-Star break. The Lakers (18-35) are lottery bound after losing seven straight home games. Their .340 winning percentage is the franchise's worst since 1959-60.![]()

this is the same coy smile he had when he was purple and gold... he'll mail it in soon enough...
had to get out, you too would get out

26.2ppg, 10.8rpg, 1.4apg, 1.2spg, 1.8bpg; 4.2 TOs, 63.4% TS (58.9% FG, 65.2% FT; 13.8 FTA), 111 ORtg, 36.8mpg.
^ Dwight stats in 6 game stretch earlier this month
that's cool and all, but when the ante goes up, he's gonna need to get bailed out... he's a mental midget...
harden will bail him out
we'll see... Dwight wants the spotlight, but he can't stand the bright light...
Dwert got out of Brokeback LA just before Sodom and Gommorah collapsed.
Dwert is gonna bust his nut early just like he did with all those s who fathered his children tbh
harden did a bang up job in the finals. He should be fine.
Good for him for leaving. The Lakers FO obviously was in a mess and he bailed, I would have done the same. However, he proved in his latter years in Orlando and the 1 season in LA that he is not as great as we thought.
This is the same dude that preached loyalty in Orlando.

I still thank my lucky stars we found him in the Summer of '09. He fit the bill to a T.
Harden is a mental midget as well, tbh....
Not really, and at least he's gotten past the second round in his career.![]()
....as the third option, not the first option
And he also flat-out choked that year in the Finals![]()
Dwight monkeyballin again...glad to see the back is better.

Yeah, all those Ginobili comparisons turned out to be dead-on.
He's closer to Ginobili than any other player I can think of. Actually has a good chance to be better than him.
Of course, this interview takes place during a Rockets winning streak.
Let's see how much of a "better place" he's in if the Rockets don't make any postseason noise.
