That’s the word from Marc Stein of ESPN who says the Cavs are attempting to trade for Hill before the Nets complete a deal with the Lakers.Hearing now that Cavs have strongly emerged as team trying to trump BKN and acquire Jordan Hill from Lakers. Looks like Cavs & Nets for HillIt’s a bit of an odd fit for the Cavaliers given Hill isn’t really a center and Cleveland has multiple lengthy power forward types.
That said, Hill is a free agent at season and is relatively cheap and shouldn’t cost the Cavaliers much of anything.
It’s going to be difficult for Cleveland to beat the Nets offer of a disabled player exception though considering the Lakers aren’t interested in taking any salary back.
That said, it appears to be down to a two-team race for Hill moving forward.

Have not followed the Lakers much lately, any reason why the Lakers are shopping him? I thought he was one of the very few bright spots with the Lakers.
