Green's stock has plummeted this year, but he's still hitting 39.8% from three. They both can defend. Would you trust Belinelli/Ginobili to take over at SG if it meant having a great back-up off the bench at SF?

The Spurs don't have the contracts to make a Deng trade work(ones that they would part with, obviously).
As much as I love Deng, it doesn't make sense to bring him here.
Now that Shumpert is injured, seems like the best course of action. Plus, the team can keep Diaw.
