Just a rumor -- unfortunately the Celts' trade exception makes these things possible at least capwise.

I don't think Bradley is officially retired. The last I heard was that he announced his intent to retire and they were trying to workout a buyout (he has 3years/$14.5M left on his contract).

I hope this trade is not true. This is a nightmare if Dallas does this. Marquis is the most underrated player on the team and I will be devastated with such a stupid trade. I expect Daniels to be ready next year if he is healthy.

The Mavs were saying he's retiring, but I remember the press conference vividly. Stickboy was like "it's looking like I'm going to retire but it's not official, we'll see what happens."

So no, the human pencil isn't officially retired.

BTW, the only reason that is stuck in my head is I remember thinking "dude, it's not like you've contributed anything except being on the wrong end of poster after poster the last 4 years" when he said he thought he still had something left
