First and foremost the clippers are not Los Angeles team. They never will be they never represented us, our city, or our fan base in any way.
They simply have our city's name on their jersey for marketing reasons and that's it.
Staples center was not built in 1999 with the intention of highlighting every clipper game. Let's keep it real the staples center is the lakers home since the plans were drawn on paper. aeg had the intention of making the staples the laker house while letting the god dam clippers pay rent. Let's face it clipper fans your team is like that annoying tenant you let live in your house because the rent money is good. Think about it clipper fans the seats are purple the statues that are outside and the banners that hang dead center of the wall lets you know that staples is home to the lakers not the clipps.
Lastly. ESPNLA and FOX Sports West does not dedicate entire morning and afternoon of live air to a top rated clippers team every morning just to draw in a fan base of about 50 and some band wagoners. The lakers are dead last in the west and every morning I can turn on 710 and hear Colin talking about the lakers, I can go home in the afternoon and it's laker talk. What do I hear about the clippers... Ya that's right absolutely nothing.
So I guess what I'm Saying to the clipper fans is Go (bleep) yourself.

I ain't even mad. The tank job is coming along nicely and i expect an MVPau led team to get blown the out every single game.
Plus it's flop city, you know they like their regular season accolades. Season sweeps, division banners etc.
The tanking is going as well as you can possibly imagine it to go!

I've been watching the Lakers since the mid 80's as a young lad. I've been through the Aids days, Worthy retiring early, BS 94 season and watching MJ get all of the praise...simliar to what the Kang is doing right now with the Lake show in transition. However, as a fan hopefully this is the bottom. Losing to the Clippers like we did last night is appalling and really indicative to where the franchise is going. Yes we have had injuries, and were very unlucky this year, although the symptoms have turned to full blown tank mode is egregious at best.
A sea change is occuring, too bad the Lakers can't float.

I've kept asking Laker fans why they automatically assume their lottery pick will be a good player and the reality is they don't have anything else to look forward to or believe in. ....they've even turned their backs on Jerry West for saying its a weak draft and crushing their dreams....calling him a senile old man.
