the knicks aren't stacked, so why the would phil go there?

and he wasn't interested
Phil trolling entire NY
lets set a meeting up so I can say nah
the knicks aren't stacked, so why the would phil go there?
lol Phil trolling NY for 857th time
Probably was in the neighborhood and wanted a free lunch
Phil Jackson isn't getting younger and his hip isn't getting any better. He is looking for one last big payday, in the range of 10m/yr+ and only a few teams would recklessly throw around money like that - the Knicks being one of these names.
Phil isn't a good enough coach to win without all of the following: a dominant big man in his prime, a good wing in his prime, and david stern.
Phil wouldnt have benched Duncan in game 6
Phil wouldn't have gotten there in the first place, tbh.
Probably fishing to see if they'd offer him $15-18 million per in a desperation move to keep Carmelo.
PJ wouldn't go to the Knicks until Amare came off the books and freed up big cap space for another big name player which would be 2015. If the Knicks re-sign 'Melo, get Rondo, and take the capspace freed up by Amare and say got KLove....that would entice him to go along with a 10+mil/yr contract....that'd be the only way though IMO.
the knicks are 2 superstars short from interesting PJ tbh.
Or Jordan.
It's a well known fact Pop won les without Duncan
