Portland is probably tanking now realizing they can get a big man in the lottery who already has health issues.
Kansas star Joel Embiid has decided to forgo his final three seasons of Division I eligibility and enter the 2014 NBA Draft, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday.
A formal announcement is expected soon.
Embiid is projected as the second overall pick in at least one mock draft and could theoretically go No. 1 after averaging 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 23.1 minutes before suffering a back injury that robbed the freshman of the final six games of his season. The 7-foot center's main compe ion for the top spot is teammate Andrew Wiggins, a 6-foot-8 wing who averaged 17.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 32.8 minutes.

Dude obviously isn't ready for the NBA, and he probably knows it. I'm almost always against leaving school early to go to the NBA, but this guy is smart for cashing in now.
Yeah because players who we're considered "NBA Ready" in college always panned out
Ed OBannon
Mateen Cleaves
Marcus Fizer
Adam Morrison
