    If teams didn't have a cap, NY & LA (and maybe Chicago) would be the only two ball clubs who would offer a 10 year contract to Lebron tbh.

    Certainly not $300 million over 10 years. A lot can happen in 10 years. Sure give your franchise player 4-5 years of max money, but 10 years is too much. Can always re-up for another 5 if he lives up to his contract.
