Good to see you posting more again WH...
having a jackass employer use the tactic is different than having your state healthcare do it to you, imo
so its ok because the other guys do it too? i'm not registered to either party, so i really couldn't care less, but none of that "makes it ok"
no, receiving a pre-marked registration card can be corrected.
Denying Ms of legit Dem voters is not easily overcome (is precisely why the Repugs do it). Then add in Repug COUNTING fraud.
Everybody knows, esp the Repugs, that the Repugs are at a huge, increasing demographic disadvantage (losing blacks, browns, asians, women, young, etc).
That's why Repugs can win only in purple states by disenfranchising millions of Dem voters.
The Dems aren't angels, but the Repugs are ing evil, corrupt, profoundly anti-democratic.
how does asking for identification specifically target democrat voters?
many poor people don't drive, don't have driver licenses, passports, can't find their birth certificate, etc, etc. The burdens on these people are well known, if you look for them. Also, they tend to be hourly workers in ty jobs with ty bosses who won't give time off to go stand in line for HOURS to vote.
and as we saw in TX, a TX rep from Corpus Christi couldn't vote because of lack of perfect match between names on her voter ID card and some other ID, because of divorce, change of surnames, etc.
I guess we'll see if this happens to anyone else. Kind of hard to prove though.
