My dad taught me all about this guy....his story is very touching....got robbed by a chic he banged...walked to the store with only his underwear and banged on the front door of a local store that was closed....the clerk shot him dead in his underwear.......was good friends with Muhammad Ali....RIP to the great Sam Cooke:

Sam Cooke would've been the greatest. His penchant for sin and the women did him in. He was banging a woman (unclear if it was a pros ute or just some groupie...) she dipped with his wallet and cash. Cooke went nuts--ran up into the check-in office and the woman working the counter whitey'd the out and shot Sam while he was in his boxers. Woman got off with a self-defense case. Sad to lose him...Only reason I commented.
