I never understood why coaches never go after OKC with hard fouls. They call them anyway, ing foul hard and play some tough D.
Neither doc or pop have the balls to call out all the bs fouls okc is able to draw

I agree
put the Ethiopian on the ground 3 or 4 times. hard. see how he reacts. never been done before for some reason
thats why I love me some Cisco Garcia. got no respec for d Ethiopian
Just undercut that fool when he goes for that rip through and put him on his ass.. He might cry
I love basketball.
I agree you have gotta to foul them hard. If you foul them hard the refs will start calling touch fouls both ways just to prevent the game from getting out of control. Unfortunately I don't think the spurs have anybody capable of giving out hard fouls to the Ethiopian.
Except the Thunder own Houston just as much as they own the Spurs..
complete failure
Thunder pushed Spurs in 4-0. Thunder failed to do this to Houston.
complete post failure.
They are 3-1 against Houston with the Rockets only win coming at home without Westbrook..they completely owned them last year, too..
They clearly own both the Spurs and Rockets, and your random Fransisco Garcia hype is stupid, as usual..
Yep, some whining would definitely help and I'm not being sarcastic, notice how I'm not using the colour blue.
Translation. You right the rockets at least ted on okc once this season.
Phil is the only one who could whine and get us the calls. That is what i'm always thankful for.
Bingo! This is exactly how the foul disparity would even out against OKC. Until the refs feels like they're losing control of the game, they will never call it evenly. It's not the ideal situation, but hey, gotta win by any mean necessary. And the good thing about that strategy is even if the game gets chippy, I think it would be easier for the Spurs to keep their composure
PJ coached LA AND CHI. Good luck whining from the riverwalk![]()
All they gotta do is foul hard, dat Baynes needs to lay KD and Westbrook out a couple of times. Who the cares what the media or other fans think? The Spurs are the most disrespected team on and off the court. Lets give them a reason to hate, tbh.
Yeah. If Baynes gets ejected, so what? He barely gets minutes anyways. Get a little Robert Horry vs. Steve Nash Phoenix Suns playoffs style up in here.
If committing a hard foul to send a message is so easy, it would have been deployed by now..
OKC won the West in 2012, they were the #1 seed in 2013 and the favorites in 2014..hard fouls isn't going to miraculously stop them from being a dominant team..
Doesn't matter, just gotta see how they react to it. Wear them down until they break.
You're missing the point. It's not the hard foul that will stop OKC, it's the just about doing anything to force the refs to call an even game. I just want consistency in the calls. I don't care if they call it tight or loose, as long as the calls are consistent and one team (OKC) isn't getting away with murder
this too
When a team commits a hard foul, it generally leads to a skirmish, which results in officials calling a tight game..OKC easily beats the Spurs in a tightly officiated game, as we have seen many times in the past..
The only tool the Spurs have that can affect the officiating is Pop speaking out, but that's not his style, unfortunately..
The hard foul logic hasn't applied to the NBA in years IMO..in the past, when a committed a hard foul, it instilled fear into the opposition, because the threat of getting hit a second time was real, whereas it just isn't going to occur in today's league..even if a player gets hit hard once, he knows it isn't going to occur a second time, tbh..
