Interesting conversation. RC doesn't make it easy on poor Zach; he's pretty terse on most things and seems to almost rattle Lowe a couple of times.

Lowe is a thoughtful analyst who really works hard to unpackage the game for readers and to assess players and teams (and the reasons for their successes and failures) without cliches. I suspect that his genuine (and smart) approach to his analysis is what got him the chance to visit with RC in the first place (particularly since RC acknowledges that he reads Grantland).

Yeah I wish he had made it just a little bit more easy since anything with Zach Lowe has a lot of potential.

Instead it was just somewhat more insightful than usual stuff involving R.C but in 20 minutes plus I was hoping for a lot better.

Lowe tried his best though and his new podcasts have generally been very good.

Interesting to hear that Dusan Ivkovic is visiting the Spurs. He is a legendary Serbian coach and Pop mentioned him as one of the guys he stole some plays from.

I didn't feel the responses were terse but RC sure as takes forever to answer a question. You know he's smart but I'll be damned if he doesn't sound like he's missing a few brain cells.
