One likely candidate for Jazz coaching job, sources tell Yahoo: Spurs assistant Jim Boylen. He has a strong history with GM Dennis Lindsey.

i guess ime will be the heir
Will this affect our players' focus and mindset going forward in the playoffs? How will we get by OKC if our main assistant coach is busy thinking about job offers? This doesn't bode well for us IMO.
Any human being on the planet would be an upgrade over Tyrone Corbin, other than maybe Hoops Czar and hater, tbh..
Speaking of Udoka, has Nia Long ever been to a Spurs' game?
Goodbye Jimi, you did a great job in SA
If he does take it, his biggest impact to the Spurs will be vouching for Jeff Ayres and forgetting Leonard existed on the roster.
Over/under on number of games it takes for him to inadvertently drop a key player from his rotation?
"I apologized to Gordon, Derrick, Alec and Trey afterward."
He can go as long as P.J. comes back....
Didn't he get fired from the Univ of Utah?
while i'd be glad if boylen left, our assistant coach/heir to pop is in a terrible spot tbh. losing bud AND brett brown in the same offseason really hurt. and LOL to bringing PJ back
Adios Boylen. Take Ayres with you!
Clearing a spot for Monty Williams after he is inevitably fired.
And failing to get Granger to want to play for us despite having had history with him.
welcome Matt Bonner...
no tbh.
How about getting Avery Johnson to take his spot?
Boylen seems like an idiot. Good riddance. I would rather Pop cut him and we just try out d-league assistant coaches on 10 day contracts.
I'd sign on.
Im so old I remember when Ty Corbin was actually a pretty damn good Spur.
