Don't think he invented it, but made it his signature shot which then made it popular.

No. Not even close. Stockton, Gary Payton, etc. all were great at it back in the day.

It's literally Dejuan Blair's only shot tbh.

Nick Van Exel used to use that as well. I used to try and do that shot in 99 after watching him play. LOL did someone really ask if Parker invented it? OP come on now.

I cringed when he did that here, even when it went in it looked flat out HORRIBLE.

No one today invented any of their moves. Dirk's move has been done, not as well but it's been out there. Manu's Eurostep wasn't invented by Manu. So forth and so on. I think the clapping under the rim in a "look coach, I am fired up after that... ready to do better now" after a up on defense was invented by Jeff Ayres though.

Well, actually it was Juan Carlos Navarro the player that made it more popular in FIBA basketball, and it's been his signature shot for 15 years, even from 3pt range.

His nickname is "La Bomba" (The Bomb), related to this kind of shot.

It was just a signature move because those were the days that Parker couldn't shoot the ball. Then Chip came in and changed his shot to include his thumb since he was used to using his thumb in the teardrop.

He didn't invent the teardrop, but he did invent the finger roll.

And Manu invented the flop. Spurs have a lot of inventors on this team, tbh.

No, it was the legendary Greek player Vassilis Spanoulis who invented this move.
