LA Clippers owner 'consulted pros ute over which coach to appoint'
Alexandra Castro, whom Sterling found himself embroiled in a sex scandal with in 2003, claimed he sought her advice on a daily basis.
She said Sterling asked her about who he should hire as a coach and how he should respond to requests from players.
The claims were included in court do ents from a case which involved Sterling suing Castro to get a house he gave her back after she ended their relationship, reports Sports By Brooks.
In her statement, Sports By Brooks. reports that Castro said: 'During our relationship, Mr Sterling consulted me on issues he was considering almost every day including, among others, whether he should hire Alvin Gentry to coach the Los Angeles Clippers (although I had no experience in such matters).'
