Sure he didn't do anything on offense but the mavs tried to run ISO after ISO on the redhead and could not score. Bonner being out there also opens the offense up more even if he doesn't get his shot off.

Nice catch. I noticed this as well. Bonner was big on helping build the lead with his defense. WELCOME TO THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!! He stopped consecutive screen and rolls with Ellis and Nowitzki. That was big and completely disrupted the Mavs offense for the duration of his minutes. Props to Bonner for a job well done.

Bonner was great tonight, tbh, but the Spurs definitely don't need more of him..
I don't mind him for 5 minutes like tonight, he helped the spacing, but I'm happy Pop didn't go to him for too long..

Bonner actually was good defensively. Offensively he like others, had a guy glued to him at ll times, so no chance to brick a shot.
Pop using the red head and getting away with it ,not bad
