Our offense still looks shaky as , but we didn't turn the ball over much this game. Loved it!

We really outplayed Dallas by a mile, fluke shots were the only thing that kept them in it. As long as Green plays solid D on Ellis again and Splitter can make things tough for NoWIMPzki, then we should win easily in game 6 assuming Dallas cools down and SA heats up. What are the chances Carter shoots 7-9 from three again?
Sorry, but after a while you have to stop calling their shots "flukes". These guys have been playing for a decade and they are professional, highly paid 3pt shooters. They are not flukes. Hitting a full court shot to win the game is a fluke. Going 7-9 from three isn't flukey shooting.
Yeah, nothing Dallas does is flukey to be honest. That team is good, simple as that. Give credit where credit is due
at Spurfans thinking great shooters like Calderon and Carter have been hitting fluke shots
Only flukes this series were when Dallas played defense
we played that Euro style fluid offense today, Splitter was key with his screen and lane reading
This is very very true.... They won't go away easily.
I don't know about fluke or not. But before tonight's 28 points, VC's most playoff points with the Mavs was 13 points.
Yup...it's a very simple concept...take care of the ball and you win.
The 2 pt shot Carter made off the backboard when he wasn't even looking at the basket initially, caught the ball, turned and shot off of one foot in one continous motion was beyond a fluke. All you have to do is look at his reaction after the shot went in to know the shot surprised him too.
7-9 from three won't happen again in this series for Carter.
We know they can shoot but in this game they did take and make alot of bad shots. Well defended, falling, fading, low percentage shots.
Carter better not get another wide open look weakly contested look. Ditto Calderon.
Spurs used to pull that with Derek Swisher.
The four keys to beating the Mavs IMHO is keeping the turnovers down to single digits, making a high percentage of their free throws, keeping the Mavs from making a high percentage of three pointers, and beating the Mavs zone defense.
Ah, well I missed a lot of this game, so I was more talking about the series as a whole. I've been seeing a lot of SF saying that Calderon was hitting flukish shots even though he was getting good looks.
Carter is a career 38% three point shooter (40% the past couple of years) who is shooting 52% this series. That means he's hit 2 or 3 more than he would on average and given how close things have been, it really could make a difference - and we KNOW one miss would mean the Spurs sitting at home right now waiting to see who won the other series.
