In the 90s, Jordan could have killed his father and only gotten a 2 year long suspension, tbh. And probably some FTs on his first game back.

    This

    Stern wanted Barkley vs MJ

And the Rockets got screwed at the end of game 7 vs Seattle.

The Rockets were a bad matchup for thr Bulls, and they wouls have destroyed Phoenix in the WCF

It's funny how people prop up MJ by talking about how he played in such a tough defensive era. MJ was a great, great player, but if you even breathed on him it was a foul. I can remember Cavalier players literally trying to get out of his way as he went to the hoop and still getting whistled.

    Career FTA/game in the playoffs:

    Jordan: 9.9
    LeBron: 10.0
    Kobe: 7.4
    Durant: 9.3

But DK got so many food stamps it couldn't possibly be because he was unguardable, even with handchecking

Bunch of whining es pretending that Jordan needed ref help to destroy opposing players/teams. Go back and watch those games that Jordan played against the Bad Boys and Riley's Knicks and tell me that he didn't deserve those FTs.

I keep saying how Phil ed about not getting a "fair shake" from the refs after every single loss to Detroit.

His foodstamps went beyond free throws, too.... Stern changed rules for him

    Well it depends when

Pre-1990/1991 MJ didnt the special ref treatment .... so he didnt need food stamps to on the Cavs imo

It was only after years of losing to Detroit that MJ and the Bulls complained to the NBA, and coincidence, the Bulls finally beat Detroit in 1991.

This is why the Pistons refused to shake hands with Chicago.

The Lakers and Celtics also got phisically abused by the Pistons, but they never complained to Stern

He's the GOAT, IMO... he could make a shot any time under any kind of pressure... I just didn't remember how protected he was back then... but it makes sense, he was single-handedly the image of the league...
