it is clear now why the suns trollls are jealous of the spurs acheivements. in my humble opinion i think that was avery terrible past, we as fans of the champions of the leauge must some some sympathy to our borthers and sisters from the suns orgnisation.

Yes, we should feel sorry for them for coming so close but getting punted by great playoff teams (like ourselves)...

Just like this year. It has GOT to be painful to be the number one seed and lose to the lower seed; I know it was to me in 95...

Yes, that is where the curse originated from... The Curse of the Coin Flip. The Suns are the BoSox of the NBA. Close, but not quite. All they can do is play the games.

I think the Suns selected Neal Walk, the hairiest man to ever play in the NBA. He was a pretty good player, who later suffered physical tragedy, but he just wasn't Lew Alcindor.

Come on, how can you be bitter about a coin flip that netted you Neal Walk?

That's much, much better than losing out on Sampson and getting Stipanovich; or losing out on Olajuwon and getting Bowie; or losing a lottery drawing that would have netted you David Robinson and ending up with Armon Gilliam (oh wait, that was Phoenix, too, wasn't it?).

Well, can't really blame the Bowie pick, it's not like that year was Olajuwon and Olajuwon only. The Blazers could have picked Jordan (already have Drexler), Barkley (undersized) or Stockton (unknown, slow and white Gonzaga PG) and still got themselves a franchise player. It was just a bad pick, not a curse.
