God I hope so. If they thought _'Antoni was bad...
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/stor...ork-knicks-jobPhil Jackson met with NBA lifer Mike Dunleavy on Friday morning to discuss the New York Knicks' vacant head-coaching job, sources confirmed to ESPN.com.
While one source close to the situation said Dunleavy is not at the top of Jackson's list, the source acknowledged he is indeed a candidate.
Dunleavy, who has coached four NBA teams over 17 years, is also a candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers' open job, according to a source.

Dunleavy is nowhere near as bad as D'Antoni nor Brown. I mean he sucks, but D'Antoni and Brown have failed with stacked rosters.
When the Lakers announce Byron Scott as the next head coach,,,,that with be the deathblow to that organization.
Dumbleavy literally got outcoached by Pringles in a playoff series.... I will never forgive that got for barely playing Sam Cassell in the 4th quarter of Game 3 or for bringing in an unproven rookie in Daniel Ewing to guard Raja Bell in Game 5....
Bald do ain't too bad i think, dude led the Clippers to the 2nd round in 06 with Brand being their only legit star player and the rest of squad filled by a band of chuckers and bags.
That's why a journalist's job is cool, besides salaries you also get such fine bonuses like this (the journalist was probably female though, otherwise Goddess would've broken his neck in a black widow manner tbh).
Didn't he lead them to more wins then Tom Rivers?
Bruh, "Goddess"'s facial aesthetics are average at best, and her nudes are trash. So overrated tbh.
Not even close, that team didn't even win 50 games.... that '06 team would have been scary with a real coach instead of Dumbleavy, though....
Hiring a 3rd Mike in a row in Dunleavy and trading 7 for Deron Williams would make this a great off-season for anti-Laker fan.
would be classic. Kobe hated Shaq being fat so much he snitched him out to the police, but I think he'd go farther and shank Deron.
Fisher remains a candidate with the Lakers, but management is increasingly leaning toward the hiring of a candidate with head-coaching experience, sources said. The Lakers have interviewed Mike Dunleavy and Byron Scott, two former head coaches who have ties to the organization. It is very likely Fisher will be afforded an interview with the Lakers if the Thunder's season ends within the parameters of the search, but it is becoming clearer his best chance of coaching in the NBA next season will be under Jackson with the Knicks.
