    What Spurs fans wanted Hunter?

The Spurs need a long 3 and another backup point. Not a big.

Nice signing for them. I'm still wondering why a team like Atlanta didn't make a move for him. That's a good contract for Hunter even if he doesn't get much better.

There were people on here who wanted him, just to take him away from the Suns.

Ah, he may actually be able to defend Duncan in a few years.

It's funny that they just spent relatively the same amount on Pachulia.

That's good for S. Hunter, but even better for Philly. That's a bargain considering his age. The guy is a leaper and will improve. Atlanta missed out. They spent more and that dude from the Bucks who in "my opinion" doesn't have the upside Steven Hunter has.

Well they just traded Marc Jackson to the Nets so they needed a backup big. He'll get some nice playing time behind Webber and Dalembert, so it's a good move for him.

Unless they are still mulling an offer to Curry, getting Zaza and Hunter along with JJ would have been quite a nice summer for the Hawks.

It's a great move for Hunter. He wanted years more than $$. Bad for the Suns :-/

the local sports talk show broke it. The offer had been on the table for a few days. They're going to try to get Hunter on. Feel free to listen.

It appears Christie might have interest in joining your Mavs if that helps any.

Yup, and it's a wonder why a lot of people will consider them the 3rd best team in the WC. go figure.

Doug Christie at this point in his career sucks. He fit well with the Sacramento team who desperately needed defense because Peja and Bibby can't guard anyone. Dallas needs more of an interior defender like Hunter to help out Dampier.

I thought he defended Duncan really well in the playoffs in spurts. I think that's the best he can hope for. TD is too crafty inside. Good signing by the 76ers.

    Great pickup for the 76ers.

The market for big men is drying up, time to shop Rasho some more.

He's still young and improving. A tag team of Daley and Hunter ain't bad at all.

That is awesome. I was hoping the Sixers picked him up. They're my 2nd favorite team so I'm happy. Great move by the Sixers.
