Dwight had already led a team to a Finals appearance and was considered a "superstar" by most. Randle is just trying to get his feet wet and learn. I think it would be a perfect opportunity actually. Kobe is only gonna be around for 2 years at most and then step down handing over the reigns to Randle. 2 years is an ideal window to learn from one of the best. Randle seems like he has that aggressive/alpha mentality so it would be a perfect match.
Much better than going to some ty franchise like Milwaukee or Philly with nobody relevant

Everyone wants to play in LA because that's a big market, especially if you look fine because it'd triple your chance to land one of the world's finest es in your bed (like how it worked for Vujacic) which you wouldn't expect to achieve playing elsewhere.

Wgaf?! Lakers won't know who will play with Kobe or if Kobe will be healthy. We need to pick a coach before the draft and see if Pau will be open to stay. Both should considered as we make our choice. Not saying we shouldn't draft Randle or Vonleh if Pau stays but it would show we have a plan and a clue.
I'm not as upset as most Laker Fans that we are at 7. I'm PISSED that Boston is at 6. Just like in the draft with Rondo, they will us over and we'll have to settle for Farmar.
At this stage I'm down with Randle or Smart at 7. I'd much rather Baby Z-Bo though. We'll see how this shakes out. Stay tuned.
